Additional Incentive for Coimbatore Milk Producers

For the welfare and encouragement of milk producers supplying milk to the 327 primary societies functioning under the control of the Coimbatore District Cooperative Milk Producers’ Union, and in continuation of the orders of the Director of Milk Production and Dairy Development Department, Chennai, it is hereby informed with pleasure that, in addition to the incentive of ₹3 per litre currently provided by the Government of Tamil Nadu, an additional incentive of ₹3 per litre will be provided from the funds of the Coimbatore District Cooperative Milk Producers’ Union.

Thus, a total incentive of ₹6 per litre will be disbursed to member milk producers for the months of March 2026 and April 2026.

On behalf of the District Administration, all milk producers in Coimbatore District are requested to make use of this valuable opportunity by supplying milk to the village-level Milk Producers’ Cooperative Societies and benefiting from the scheme. (PDF 217KB)
