The first phase of Census 2027 namely Housing Census and House Listing Operations (HLO) is to be Commenced in Coimbatore District.  As part of this exercise, the Self-Enumeration facility will be available from 17.07.2026 to 31.07.2026 through the official Census portal: https://se.census.gov.in. Thereafter, from 01.08.2026 to 30.08.2026, Enumerators will visit every household in Coimbatore District to carry out the Housing Census and House Listing Operations. Citizens who complete Self-Enumeration of their house are requested to retain the 12-digit Self-Enumeration Reference Number generated upon successful submission and produce it to the Enumerator during the household visit for verification of their particulars. As Census 2027 is being conducted entirely through a digital platform, the general public of Coimbatore District is requested to actively participate in the Self-Enumeration process and extend their support and cooperation for the successful conduct of the Census.

Whereas it appears to the appropriate Government that a total of 1608 Sq. Mtr (39.73 Cent) of land is required in the Vilankuruchi Village, Coimbatore Corporation in Coimbatore North Taluk in Coimbatore District for Public purpose, namely to correct the S Curve and lay a straight path by Coimbatore Corporation.
