The Tamil Nadu FibreNet Corporation (TANFINET) has relaxed the financial eligibility criteria for selecting District Level Franchisee Partners (DLFPs) under the BharatNet project.
The minimum average annual turnover requirement for the previous three financial years has been reduced from ₹50 lakh to ₹20 lakh, enabling more applicants to participate.
Applications have been reopened on the TANFINET portal from 12.08.2026. Eligible individuals and organisations can apply for a maximum of two districts, subject to the specified eligibility conditions.
Selected partners will be responsible for maintaining Optical Fibre Cable (OFC), Optical Network Terminals (ONT), uninterrupted internet services, quick resolution of service issues, SLA compliance and service quality.
