Plantation of 1,200 Saplings Begins at Somayampalayam

In Coimbatore district, at the Somayampalayam Government Primary Health Centre premises, the District Forest Officer (Coimbatore Forest Division), Thiru. Venkatesh Prabhu, I.F.S., and the District Health Officer, Dr. Balusamy, today (20.08.2026) inaugurated the plantation of 1,200 saplings under the Green Tamil Nadu Mission – Nalasolai Scheme, jointly organised by the Coimbatore Forest Department and the Department of Public Health and Preventive Medicine.
