Mandatory Registration of Horses and Equines with Tamil Nadu Animal Welfare Board

All horses and other equines raised in Coimbatore District for passenger transport, carriage of goods, horse riding, riding schools, racing, wedding events and other purposes must be mandatorily registered with the Tamil Nadu Animal Welfare Board (TNAWB).

Horse owners are required to register the details of their animals through the official TNAWB website and comply with regulations concerning their welfare, health, safety and humane care. Proper shelter with adequate ventilation, sanitation, safety, waste management, protection from sun and rain, and sufficient drinking water must also be provided.

All horse and equine owners in Coimbatore District are requested to complete the registration within the prescribed deadline and strictly follow animal welfare regulations. For registration and guidance, owners may approach the nearest Veterinary Hospital or visit the official Tamil Nadu Animal Welfare Board website.
