Special Camp for Differently Abled Persons in Valparai on September 18
For the welfare of differently abled persons residing in Coimbatore District, special camps are being conducted at 25 locations through the coordinated efforts of the Department for the Welfare of Differently Abled Persons and various Government departments.
As part of this initiative, a special camp for differently abled persons will be held on 18.09.2026, from 10.00 AM to 1.00 PM, at the Community Hall near the Valparai Municipality Bus Stand.
The camp will facilitate UDID card registration and renewal, issue of medical certificates, selection of beneficiaries for free surgeries, provision of assistive devices, educational assistance, maintenance assistance, bank loan assistance, registration and renewal of bus passes, and registration with the Welfare Board for Differently Abled Persons.
Services such as Aadhaar registration and corrections, and name and address corrections in family cards will also be provided.
Therefore, differently abled persons residing in the Valparai Taluk only are requested to participate in the special camp, apply for various Government welfare schemes and avail themselves of the benefits, the District Collector, Thiru. Pavankumar G. Giriyappanavar, I.A.S., has informed.
