Census 2027: House Listing and Housing Census Underway in Coimbatore
As the first phase of the Census 2027, House Listing and Housing Census (HLO) work is being carried out digitally by enumerators through door-to-door visits across Coimbatore district from 01.08.2026 to 30.08.2026.
The public is requested to cooperate with the enumerators and provide accurate information regarding their houses, family members and basic amenities without hesitation.
If any houses or areas have been left out of the census exercise, the public may contact the concerned Tahsildar offices, Municipal offices or Town Panchayat offices for necessary action.
The Principal Census Officer and District Collector, Thiru. Pavankumar G. Giriyappanavar, I.A.S., has requested the public to extend their full cooperation and ensure that all eligible households are covered under the Census 2027 exercise.
