Government Subsidy Schemes for Home and Terrace Gardening

The Horticulture Department is implementing various subsidy schemes to encourage people to grow vegetables and fruits at home.
Subsidies are provided for setting up terrace gardens, shade net structures, hydroponic systems and vertical gardens.
Vegetable seed kits, fruit plant kits and greens cultivation kits are also offered at subsidised rates.
These initiatives aim to promote home-based cultivation of nutritious vegetables for family consumption.
Interested beneficiaries can contact their respective Block Horticulture Offices to avail these benefits.
