Special Camp for Differently Abled Persons in Karamadai – September 25
For the welfare of differently abled persons in Coimbatore District, special mega camps are being conducted at 25 locations through the coordinated efforts of the Department for the Welfare of Differently Abled Persons and various Government departments.
The camps provide services including UDID card registration and renewal, medical certificates, selection of beneficiaries for free surgeries, assistive devices, educational assistance, maintenance assistance, bank loan assistance, bus pass registration and renewal, and registration with the Welfare Board for Differently Abled Persons.
Services such as Aadhaar registration and corrections, and name and address corrections in family cards are also provided.
As part of this initiative, a special camp will be held on 25.09.2026 from 10.00 AM to 1.00 PM at the Community Welfare Centre, Sikkarampalayam Panchayat, Karamadai Taluk. Differently abled persons residing in the Karamadai Taluk are requested to participate in the camp and apply for various Government welfare schemes, the District Collector, Thiru. Pavankumar G.
