This Office serves as the regional Head Office for Town Panchayats Administration in Supervising the Activities of 33 Town Panchayats of Coimbatore Zone which comprises of General Administration, Scheme works implementation, Tax and non-tax Collection, Civic Amenities such as Road, Street Light, Water Supply, Public Health, Solid Waste Management, Maintenance of Community assets such as Bus stands, Bus Shelter, Shandy, Community Halls. Parks & Play Grounds, Burial Ground & Crematorium, etc., Conducting Council Meetings, Area Sabha & Ward Committee, Registration of Vital Statistics. Furnishing progress of the activities to the Directorate of Town Panchayats & District Administration.

Under Namakku Naame Thittam (NNT) which was introduced during 2021-22 as of now Rs.404.32 Lakhs was collected as Public Contribution and 70Nos of Works were carried out in Various TPs at an Estimate cost of Rs.1044.00 Lakhs. Flag Day Targets as fixed by the District Administration are achieved for the past 4 Years.
Peoples Movement for Clean Cities Campaign has been launched to create awareness among the public regarding the Segregation of Waste at Source and cleanliness of Public Places, involving Students & public in large numbers for Cleanliness activities, Tree Plantation, Ban on Plastics, Cleaning of Water Bodies, Removal of Wall Posters & Hoardings. Awareness programs such as Rallies, Essay Writing and drawing Competitions, and Felicitation of Cleanliness Workers and volunteers are carried out on 2nd & 4th Saturdays.
