Training for Transgender Persons as Tourist Guides
The Tamil Nadu Government Tourism Department proposes to provide tourist guide training to transgender persons who have passed Class 12 and are interested in tourism. Eligible transgender persons who are interested in working as tourist guides in Coimbatore district may participate in this training programme.
Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) and associations functioning in Coimbatore district are also requested to create awareness about this programme among transgender persons and forward the details of eligible and interested transgender persons to the concerned office.
