Special Veterinary Health Camps in Coimbatore from September 2026
In selected villages of Coimbatore district, 216 Special Veterinary Health and Awareness Camps will be conducted from September 2026 to February 2027. This includes 144 camps in the Coimbatore Division and 72 camps in the Pollachi Division.
The camps will provide veterinary services such as treatment of sick livestock, deworming, vaccination, artificial insemination, infertility treatment, pregnancy diagnosis, castration and minor surgeries.
Farmers will also receive guidance from veterinary experts on livestock management. Mineral mixtures and fodder seeds will be provided to eligible poor farmers participating in the camps. Details regarding the dates and venues will be announced through nearby veterinary centres and milk producers’ cooperative societies.
