V.O. Chidambaranar’s 155th Birth Anniversary: Ministers to Pay Floral Tribute on September 5

On the occasion of the 155th birth anniversary of Kappalottiya Thamizhan V.O. Chidambaranar, Hon’ble Ministers will pay floral tribute to his statue at V.O.C. Ground, Coimbatore, at 9.00 AM on 05.09.2026.
The District Collector, Members of Parliament and Legislative Assembly, Corporation Mayor and Deputy Mayor, elected representatives of local bodies, descendants of freedom fighters, and government officials will participate in the programme.
The District Collector, Thiru. Pavankumar G. Giriyappanavar, I.A.S., has requested the general public to participate in the programme.
