Widows and Destitute Women Can Register as Members and Avail Government Welfare Benefits
Widows, deserted women, destitute women, vulnerable women and unmarried women can register as members of the Tamil Nadu Widows and Destitute Women Welfare Board and avail various government welfare benefits.
In Coimbatore district, a special camp for health consultation and membership registration will be held on 15.09.2026, from 10.00 AM to 4.00 PM, at the District Collectorate, 12 Block Development Offices, Mettupalayam and Valparai Municipal Offices, and four zonal offices of Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation.
Eligible women may attend the camp with their Aadhaar Card, Family Card, Widow/Deserted Woman Certificate, passport-size photograph, Income Certificate, Residence Certificate and mobile phone number and register as members to avail the benefits.
