Coimbatore District to Undertake PPR Vaccination Drive for Goats and Sheep

As a precautionary measure to protect goats and sheep from Peste des Petits Ruminants (PPR), commonly known as goat plague, the Animal Husbandry Department will undertake a PPR vaccination drive across all villages in Coimbatore district. All goats and sheep above four months of age, except pregnant animals, will be vaccinated against the disease.
