Direct Paddy Procurement Centres to Open in Kottur and Anaimalai from October 1
Direct Paddy Procurement Centres under the Coimbatore Region of the Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation will commence operations at Kottur and Anaimalai from 01.10.2026. The centres will function from 9.30 AM to 1.30 PM and 2.30 PM to 6.30 PM.
Farmers will receive ₹2,750 per quintal for fine variety paddy and ₹2,600 per quintal for common variety paddy. Farmers can register their details free of cost through e-DPC at the procurement centres by submitting Patta, Chitta/Adangal, Aadhaar and bank account documents.
Paddy will be procured based on registration priority, and the payment will be credited to the farmers’ bank accounts through ECS within 48 hours. For complaints regarding paddy procurement, farmers may contact the toll-free number 18005993540.
The District Collector, Thiru. Pavankumar G. Giriyappanavar, I.A.S., has requested farmers to utilise the direct procurement centres and sell their paddy through the centres.
