Special Camp for Differently Abled Persons at Periyanaickenpalayam on October 6
For the welfare of differently abled persons residing in Coimbatore District, special mega camps are being conducted at 25 locations through the coordinated efforts of the District Administration, the Department for the Welfare of Differently Abled Persons and various Government departments.
As part of this initiative, a special camp will be held on 06.10.2026 from 10.00 AM to 1.00 PM at the Indoor Stadium, Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya Campus, Gate No. 10, Mettupalayam Road, Periyanaickenpalayam.
The camp will provide various services, including UDID card registration and renewal, issue of medical certificates, selection of beneficiaries for free surgeries, assistive devices, educational and maintenance assistance, bank loan assistance, bus pass registration and applications for various Government welfare schemes. Aadhaar and family card correction services will also be provided.
Only differently abled persons residing in Periyanaickenpalayam and Kudalur Taluks are requested to participate in the special camp and avail themselves of the benefits of Government welfare schemes, the District Collector, Thiru. Pavankumar G. Giriyappanavar, I.A.S., has informed.
