Nagpur Dhamma Chakra Festival: Rs.5,000 Subsidy for Tamil Nadu Buddhists

The Government of Tamil Nadu is implementing a scheme to provide a direct subsidy of up to Rs.5,000 per person to Buddhists from Tamil Nadu who travel to Deekshabhoomi, Nagpur, to participate in the Dhamma Chakra Pravartan Day celebrations held on Vijayadashami and return.
Buddhists interested in availing this scheme for the year 2026 can obtain the application form free of cost from the District Minorities Welfare Office or download it from www.bcmbcmw.tn.gov.in.
The completed application form, along with the required documents, should be submitted on or before 15.11.2026, informed District Collector Thiru. Pavankumar G. Giriyappanavar, I.A.S.,
