Residential Climate Change Education Initiative Training for Government School Teachers

In Coimbatore District, a three-day residential Climate Change Education Initiative training programme with certification for 130 Government school teachers was inaugurated today (23.09.2026) at Karunya University.
The training is being organised by the Tamil Nadu Climate Change Mission through the District School Education Department to enhance understanding of climate change among teachers and students and create awareness about environmental and biodiversity conservation.
The training will continue on 24.09.2026 and 25.09.2026 at Sadhivayal.
