Special Camp for Persons with Disabilities in Pollachi
A special camp for persons with disabilities will be conducted on 25.08.2026 by the Coimbatore District Administration in coordination with various government departments at the Nachimuthu Gounder Centenary Celebration Centre Auditorium, Mahalingam Engineering College Campus, Pollachi.
The camp will facilitate UDID card registration and renewal, issuance of medical certificates, applications for assistive devices, educational and maintenance assistance, bank loans and other government welfare schemes, along with Aadhaar and ration card corrections.
Persons with disabilities residing in the Pollachi South Taluk are requested to participate in the camp and avail themselves of the government welfare schemes, informed District Collector Thiru. Pavankumar G. Giriyappanavar, I.A.S.
