Special Mega Camp for Differently Abled Persons to Be Held in Coimbatore West on September 22, 2026
For the welfare of differently abled persons in Coimbatore District, the District Administration, in coordination with the Department for the Welfare of Differently Abled Persons and various Government departments, is conducting special mega camps at 25 locations.
As part of this initiative, a special camp will be held on 22.09.2026 at the Coimbatore West R.S. Puram Corporation Kala Arangam, from 10.00 AM to 1.00 PM.
The camp will provide services including UDID card registration and renewal, issuance of medical certificates, selection of beneficiaries for free surgeries, assistive devices, educational and maintenance assistance, bank loan assistance, bus pass registration and various Government welfare schemes.
Services such as Aadhaar registration and corrections, and name and address corrections in family cards will also be provided. Only differently abled persons belonging to the Coimbatore West region are requested to participate in the camp, apply for various Government welfare schemes and avail themselves of the benefits, the District Collector, Thiru. Pavankumar G. Giriyappanavar, I.A.S., has informed.
