State Common Review Mission (SCRM) Meeting Held in Coimbatore District
A State Common Review Mission (SCRM) meeting is held today (10-10-2026) at the Coimbatore District Collectorate meeting hall, under the leadership of Dr. S. Aneesh Sekhar, IAS, Director of the National Health Mission, Tamil Nadu, on behalf of the Department of Health and Family Welfare. The meeting reviewed the key findings, requirements and recommendations arising from the two-day field inspection conducted on 8 and 9 October 2026 at government medical college hospitals, government hospitals, primary health centres, sub-health centres and urban health and wellness centres across Coimbatore district. The review covered the quality of medical services, availability of medicines, emergency care facilities, maternal and child health services, and the implementation of National Health Mission schemes. Relevant officials were given guidance to strengthen the district’s healthcare infrastructure and ensure accessible, uninterrupted and quality medical services for the public.
